The Houston Texans will start quarterback Brock Osweiler in the Wild Card round, while the Oakland Raiders will start rookie fourth-round pick Connor Cook. At this point, we’ve seen a lot more of Osweiler, but that hardly tips in Houston’s favor given his struggles since the Texans gave him a massive contract this offseason.

The two teams will meet on Saturday in the first of two Wild Card games on the day. They will kick off at 4:35 p.m. ET and the game will be broadcast on ESPN and ABC. A live stream of the game will be available via WatchESPN, though it will require login credentials from a cable or satellite provider.
The good news for the Raiders (12-4) is that they’re back in the playoffs for the first time in 14 years. The not-so-good part is that they’ll do so without their MVP-candidate quarterback Derek Carr (broken leg). Oakland sends out rookie Connor Cook for his first NFL start, becoming the only quarterback in league history to make his first start in the playoffs.
Cook will face the NFL’s top-rated defense and will do so without trusty Pro Bowl left tackle Donald Penn (knee), who will miss his first game in nine years.
